The TDHOS5 is a sensor switch equipped with both Passive Infrared (PIR) motion and humidity sensors, making it perfect for bathrooms, laundry rooms, spas, or any other room with high humidity levels. The humidity sensor automatically turns on the ventilation fan based on the moisture level in the air, helping to make your space more comfortable and energy-efficient.

The sensor switch offers two modes of operation: Occupancy Mode and Vacancy Mode. In Occupancy Mode, the lights and ventilation fans are automatically controlled based on motion and humidity detected in the room. In Vacancy Mode, the lights are manually turned on, and when no motion is detected for the set time, the sensor will automatically turn off the lights.

The TDHOS5 is designed to control bathroom exhaust fans up to ¼ HP, and other applications may include ventilation fans in basements, laundry rooms, or home spas. The device comes pre-set with a default time period of 10 minutes, high sensitivity with 65% relative humidity, and Occupancy Mode. If desired, the settings can be easily adjusted without tools or having to remove the wallplate or faceplate.

The Humidity Sensor automatically turns on the ventilation fan when the relative humidity (RH) is greater than or equal to the selected humidistat setting (45%, 65%, or 80%). Users can manually turn off the humidity sensor after programming by pressing the fan or light icon on the face of the device.
